Suggested Usage:

As a dietary supplement, adults take 1 tablet once or twice daily with food or as directed by physician.

Cautions/Drug Interactions/Contraindications

The product should not be taken during pregnancy because it contains vitamin A. Because TruePROTECT contains vitamin E, it should be avoided prior to surgery or while taking Coumadin or other blood-thinning medications. Because TruePROTECT contains vitamin C, consult your licensed healthcare practitioner before taking large doses of vitamin C if you have a glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase deficiency, iron overload (hemosiderosis or hemochromatosis), a history of kidney stones, kidney failure or been taking Coumadin. The magnesium in TruePROTECT may decrease the absorption of a number of drugs. As such, take TruePROTECT at least two hours from any medications.
Individuals taking the following medications should not take supplements containing vitamin A:
Simvastatin (Zocor®), Minocycline (Minocin®) Isotretinoin (Accutane®) Fluvastatin (Lescol®), or Atorvastatin (Lipitor®).
Individuals taking the following medications should not take supplements containing vitamin C:
Mixed Amphetamines (Adderall®, Dexamphetamine) or warfarin (Coumadin).
Individuals taking the following medications should not take supplements containing zinc:
Doxycycline (Atridox®, Doryx®, Doxy®, Monodox®, Periostat®, Vibramycin®), Ciprofloxacin (Ciloxan®, Cipro®), Methyltestosterone (Android®, Testosterone Cypionate, Testred®, Virilon®), Minocycline (Minocin®), Ofloxacin (Floxin®, Ocuflox®), Penicillamine (Cuprimine®, Depen®), Risedronate (Actonel™), or Tetracycline (Achromycin®, Actisite®, Sumycin®, Topicycline®)
Certain medications may interact negatively with vitamins and supplements or cause nutrient depletions. Please see your doctor before taking nutritional supplements if you are currently taking medication.
